The Swiss Super League (2020-2021) is composed of 10 teams, and the tournament adopts four rounds of scoring (four rounds: the two teams play against the other side as home and away respectively, a total of four times.) The league champion has the qualification to play in the second round of the playoff in the UEFA Champions League next season; the runner-up has the qualification to play in the qualifier for the UEFA Champions League next season; the third and fourth places will participate in the Europa League playoffs next season. The champion of Swiss Super League can participate in the third qualifying round of the Europa League next season, and if they could obtain a place in the UEFA Champions League through the Europa League, the relevant places will be postponed in accordance with the league ranking. The bottom team of the league will be directly relegated, and the penultimate place will play a two-round promotion playoff with the second place of the League 1.
